Missing Scriptural Books, Records and Letters that are not in the Bible.
The word, Bible, is an English word representative of a Greek plural word biblia, which means literally books, meaning more than one book.
Prophets and Apostles mainly wrote the inspired books and letters in the Bible.
Some if these inspired books, letters, and writings were translated and compiled into the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. They were put together by a group of scholars, theologians, philosophers and politicians who debated and voted on which books, and letters should or shouldn't be included. The books that received a majority vote by the council were compiled into the Bible. The rest of the stories and writings were discarded. An example is the King James Version of the Bible. They did the best they could with what they had available. These men who compiled these records were not Prophets nor did not have all of the Scriptures. But never the less, God as much as possible has had a hand over the years in preserving many of the writings of His Prophets and Apostles in the Bible.
The Bible does not contain all of God's words!
Many of the Books and Scriptures written for us by Prophets and Apostles of God, are not in the Bible. Most of the Jews do not believe in the New Testament or that it is a testament of the Messiah. The Apocrypha Books that were in many of the older Bibles have been taken out of the new Bibles.
At the time the "Bible" books were compiled, there were many other scriptures that were just not available!
If any of these Scriptures did survive the ‘dark ages’ they were unfortunately for whatever reason not included or compiled into our Bibles.
Prophets and Apostles in the Bible refer to some of the other Scriptural Books as follows:
The Book of the Covenant.
"And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do..." (Exodus 24:7)
Book of the Wars of the Lord.
"Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the Lord, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon..." (Numbers 21:14)
Book of Jasher.
"And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed…. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? (Joshua 10:13) "...it is written in the book of Jasher." (2 Samuel 1:18)
Book of the Statutes.
"Then Samuel told the people…and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the Lord…” (1 Samuel 10:25)
Book of Enoch.
"And Enoch also…prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints," (Jude 1:14)
Book of the Acts of Solomon.
"And the rest of the acts of Solomon…are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon?" (1 Kings 11: 41)

The Prophet Ezekiel tells of the Bible and The Book of Mormon being joined one to another in our hands.
The Book of Mormon is referred to as the "The Stick of Ephraim" and the Bible as the “Stick of Judah”. They would be joined together “join them one to another…” “and they shall be one in mine hand…” (Ezekiel 37:15-28)
Many scriptures were written upon papyrus. If small they were rolled upon one stick. If the book or papyrus record was or became larger, they would use two “sticks” at each end. Then it became a scroll.
“And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.” (Ezekiel 37:20)
The Bible talks about The Book of Mormon words coming "out of the ground".
“…shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.” (Isaiah 29:4)
And thou shalt be brought down . . . and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust. . . . And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. . . .Behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. (Isaiah 29:4) (Isaiah 29:11-14) (2 Nephi 27:6-10)

Charles Anthon (1797-1867) a well-known Professor and "learned" by standards of the world. Was shown a copy of the reformed Egyptian writings copied from the Book of Mormon plates. Isaiah writes about this event. (Note: For more information about this prophesied event. See; "Charles Anthon & Reformed Egyptian" on this website.)
(Isaiah 29:11-12 Isaiah 29:14 Isaiah 29:24)
"And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:"
Even though Joseph Smith was not learned as to the standards of the world. The Book of Mormon was "delivered to him".
"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine." (Isaiah 29:11-12) (Isaiah 29:14) (Isaiah 29:24)
The Bible foretells of the angel Moroni bring the Book of Mormon to the world so that it can also be preached to “every nation, and Kindred, and tongue, and people”.
The coming of the “angel” Moroni, is referred to in Revelation 14:6. The Book of Mormon, along with the Old and New Testaments, or the “the everlasting gospel” will be preached to “ every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people”. (Revelation 14:6)

Note: A common misunderstanding:
(Revelation 22: 18-19)
The Apostle John did not want his book, the Book of Revelation, changed, “add unto…[or] take away from…[his] book…”
Note:
The "Bible" collection of books, was not even put together, when the Book of Revelations was written.
Note:
“Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it…” (Deuteronomy 4:2)
“What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.” (Deuteronomy 12:32)
“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” (Proverbs 30: 5-6)

The Book of Revelations was written about 86AD.
About 4 years later in the year 90AD, the Gospel according to St. John was written.
When King James and others compiled the various books or records into the book we now call the Bible. They did not compile them chronology as they had been written.
